as for a hair cut- if you have thick hair, layering and thinning is a great thing for you! maybe some sideswept bangs too!

if you have dark hair, i love deep auburn highlights or just all you hair deep auburn.

if you have light hair, get parts of it lightened and darkened to create dimensions.

u should ask that to the hairstylists u should go to one

Have the hairstylist cut it with a razor it'll shed some of the weight from the thickness away and add volume to your hair and movement. You'll love it!

well i have very thick mex. hair. I recommend a razor cut , so its choppy and not block cut that will make your face look round and it will puff out. Since you didnt mention your hair color i am going to assume it is dark brown/ black. So i recommend bleached blonde highlights, then a carmel glaze over that so it's suttle and natural looking. Ask for a weave, that is the technic they use so its very natural and not so chunky.. so good luck

Just let your hair shine and maybe trim ends a little bit every 6 weeks

Have the stylist do a razor cut to thin it out and usually if your hair is dark brown you could use a color in the reds or a lighter brown just to give it highlights

With an oval face you want to try something with layers, the streaks you want the lightest to be in front (some people get several colors of streaks) to bring out your eyes. The layers will also take some of the weight off and make it easier to dry and style. ( I have very thick hair). The shortest that I would suggest is to go to the jaw line no shorter.

As for the the color that all depends on your skin tone, if you are really pale you don't want to go too dark because it will make you seem a lot whiter.... try your natural hair color and do streaks, do a random variety the different colors will give you an idea on the best color suited for you. I am not talking about pink and green colors, do a couple of light colors and then a couple of dark any salon should be able to do that with no troubles..... With out seeing a pictures it really hard to tell you the exact color, and length to cut your hair but I have an oval face and I have red hair and I wouldn't go any shorter than my jaw line because it makes your face seem rounder.

Best of luck to you I hope it turns out looking great!

ask your stylist to use his/her "thinning shears". razors are used for making the hair cut look choppy. in this case, you want to take some weight off your overall hair.

side swept bangs are a very good idea, but make sure to tell him/her that you want them to be cut in a way that they can be styled straight down much like, andy's bangs in the movie "the devil wears prada"

i'm not aware of your skin color, so let's just say you're fair.

choose a dark color for your base, like deep chocolate brown, and a great contrast is platinum blonde streaks, the thickness of the streaks is up to you, but they look great! tell your stylist to spare your bangs when she's doing the streaks, just keep your bangs the same color as the base.
