if i have african american hair and i want it cut short but i don't know how to maintain it. because when it's humid or wet it frizzes up real bad and flies in all sorts of directions so i'd just like to know how to get it to a texture that doesn't require lots of time and damage to my hair.

i would just say relax it, and then u can flat iron it! but that might be a bit damaging. or maybe you can just get a really nice natural-hair weave! that would be super easy to maintain, and it would look nice. except u should get one that looks natural, and that's good quality!

I used a hair paste. It kind of controls hair better than gel in my opinion
