I get my hair cut every 6-8 weeks atleast 1/2inch to an inch just depends on if its damaged but to keep it healthy and growing then keep it trimmed so it will grown right. It also depends on your ethinicity too so 4-6 weeks isn't for everyone no matter if your a hairdresser or not.
